Steven B. Bitterman

Steven B. Bitterman is a founding member of our Firm. He is a graduate of Emory University, with Honors, and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University. He has been admitted to practice law in New Jersey since 1997.

Prior to forming Bitterman Karpen Law Group, Steven practiced with the firm of Leonard M. Bitterman & Associates, with a focus on personal injury litigation, criminal defense, and general commercial litigation. Steven has also served as the Managing Director of a major New York based legal search firm. In that role, he was often called upon to negotiate major compensation packages for high level attorneys and executives with global law firms, banks, and other financial institutions..

Steven lives with his wife Allyson, their two daughters, and their puppy, Rosalita “Rosie” Bitterman, in Short Hills, New Jersey.
